Seattle winters are mild most of the time, but a few nights below freezing are enough to crack an engine block, manifold or raw-water pump that still holds water. Winterizing removes that risk for the price of a single service call.

Whether it is a runabout on a trailer or a cruiser in a covered slip, winterization is $150 flat. No surcharge for size.

At your marina, at a private dock on Lake Washington or Lake Union, or in the driveway. The boat does not need to move.

Fall fills up quickly. Send the boat and its location and we will reply with a time. If you still use the boat into winter, tell us and we will plan the timing with you.

Keelmark serves Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Renton, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Redmond, Sammamish and Bothell. Diagnostic visits are $150 for the first hour and $90 for each additional hour; winterization is a flat $150 for any boat.

Before the first forecast hard freeze, which in most years means October or November. Booking early in the fall gives you the most flexibility.
Can you winterize a boat on a trailer at my home?
Yes. We winterize on trailers in the driveway as well as at marinas and private docks.
Do you also get the boat ready in spring?
Yes. Seasonal commissioning is available; mention it when you book and we will schedule it.
