Marine electrical repair + troubleshooting.
Electrical faults on a boat rarely fix themselves. We test the charging, battery, starter, wiring and equipment circuits at the marina and repair what is actually failing.
Electrical troubleshooting without the guesswork.
Batteries and charging systems
We load-test batteries, measure alternator output, check chargers and shore-power supply, and look for voltage drop across cables and connections. Charging problems are isolated before anything is replaced.
Starters, wiring and intermittent faults
Loose grounds, corroded terminals, failing relays and chafed wiring create confusing symptoms that come and go. We work through the circuit until we find where it actually fails, then repair it properly.
Shore power, chargers and inverters
Shore-power inlets, cords, battery chargers, inverters and isolation. If the boat is not charging at the dock, we find out why.
Electronics and onboard equipment
Gauges, alarms, displays, bilge pumps, float switches and the 12 and 24-volt wiring behind them, diagnosed and repaired or installed at the boat.

Keelmark serves Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Renton, Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Redmond, Sammamish and Bothell. Diagnostic visits are $150 for the first hour and $90 for each additional hour; winterization is a flat $150 for any boat.
Before you book.
Why do my boat batteries keep going dead?
Usually one of three things: batteries that no longer hold a charge, a charging system that is not putting enough back, or something drawing power while the boat sits. We test all three under real load before recommending parts.
Can you find an intermittent electrical fault?
Yes. Intermittent faults take methodical testing rather than guesswork. Tell us when it happens and what else is running at the time; photos and videos help.
Do you install electronics and electrical equipment?
Yes. We install and wire common onboard equipment, including instruments, bilge pumps, chargers and related 12 and 24-volt systems.
